This Privacy Policy describes how Dietary ("the app", "we") handles your information. The short version: we collect nothing, and your data never leaves your device.
1. No Data Collection
Dietary does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data or usage information. We have no access to anything you enter into the app.
2. No Network Access
The app has no internet permission and makes no network requests of any kind. It cannot send data anywhere, even if it wanted to. All functionality is entirely local.
3. Local Storage
All content you create in Dietary — meal plans, meals, reminders — is stored exclusively in your device's local storage using Apple's standard iOS data persistence mechanisms. This data is:
- Never uploaded to any server.
- Never shared with third parties.
- Backed up by iCloud only if you have iCloud backup enabled for the app in your iOS Settings; that backup is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.
- Permanently deleted when you delete the app from your device.
4. No Analytics or Advertising
Dietary contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters that send data externally, no advertising networks, and no tracking pixels of any kind. Your usage patterns are not monitored.
5. No Account Required
You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.) to use Dietary.
6. Notification Permissions
If you set meal reminders, Dietary will request permission to send you local notifications. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and are not routed through any external server. Granting or denying this permission does not affect any other functionality. You can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Dietary.
7. Children's Privacy
Dietary does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it presents no specific risk to minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Because we collect no data, any changes will not retroactively affect information we hold — we hold none.
